A special note to those patients with commercial insurance:
A new insurance policy which is effective on January 1st 2010 states patients who use "Out-of-Network" providers must receive pre-authorization for office visits from their insurance company before being treated by an "Out-of-Network" provider.
There are no Ear, Nose, and Throat (Otorhinolaryngology) preferred providers in the entire state of Alaska.
